HKMH – “The Central Plain – Civilizations of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties” Exhibition

By | Exhibition, Government Department, Museum, News | No Comments

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our partners and customers for providing us with this wonderful opportunity. Our team is truly honored to have participated in the collaboration between the Hong Kong Museum of History and the Office for Promoting Chinese Culture, which resulted in the first large-scale exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Ancient Civilisation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Henan Province” .

As a highlight of the exhibition, we have meticulously created a customized, realistic “Tortoise Shell Divination” game. This game not only features a highly authentic ancient tortoise shell appearance, but also incorporates advanced touch sensor technology, allowing participants to mimic the actions of ancient people and experience the traditional divination process. The game also integrates high-quality dynamic graphics and animations, enhancing the educational and entertaining experience for the audience.

We warmly invite you to explore this remarkable exhibition and delve into the profound roots of Chinese civilization together with us!

By | Education Institute | No Comments

To facilitate the changing dynamics of education in modern era, The Child Education Centre for Teaching & Learning takes a bold step ahead and integrated interactive technologies to develop new ways of teaching.

Situated at Shatin IVE, a bezel-less display system of whooping 165 inches finally made its grand debut and is ready to be played with motion sensing games. Teachers will take advantage of the system and develop content that is otherwise restrained and limited. Multiple mini games including job simulation, reality quizzes and money management serve to shape the children’s mindset toward morality, commonsense and social behavior as part of their all-rounded growth.

Children and teachers from SKH Holy Spirit Church Wo Che Kindergarten participated in the opening. They were thoroughly inspired by the interactive learning and the teachers felt the need to incorporate simulated experiences to strengthen the children’s awareness and development.

HKHM – Ceremony and Celebration – The Grand Weddings of the Qing Emperor

By | Exhibition, Government Department, Museum, News | No Comments

The Grand Weddings of the Qing Emperors has finally made its grand debut in the Hong Kong Heritage Museum on November 30th. Visitors hauled themselves from the crowd to get their hands on the interactive wall that displays the rituals of Qing dynasty for a thrilling experience.

Developed by Sengital, the interactive wall reveals the grand ceremony on a jaw dropping 4.6 meters panel that delivers a captivating experience unparalleled by any other rivals. Hovering their hands over the 4K video projection, visitors may activate descriptions to enhance their understanding of the specific person or ritual.

A member of the team in Sengital suggested that the interactive technology employed can be adapted for much wider applications depending on the nature of the exhibit, such as performing sequences of interactions in a controlled environment including sound and light. He is therefore looking forward to even more exciting projects in the future.

The exhibition was launched with a guided tour mobile app that was also developed by Sengital. Visitors may follow the ritual chronologically for an immersive tour by taking advantage of real time positioning.
