The exhibition entitled “Hand-in-Hand for Benevolence – Tung Wah’s Fundraising Culture and Social Development” is launched at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. Featuring more than 200 invaluable artefacts and a vast array of historical photos, the exhibition allows visitors to gain an understanding of the social development of Hong Kong through the fundraising culture of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) and to relive the collective memory of Hong Kong people embodied therein.
SenMedia is happy to participate in the production of interactive exhibits for this meaningful event. “Beat the Quiz, Score the Points” concludes the content of the exhibition in the format of Q&As; “Adventure on the Peak Tower” replicates the signature scene of Yang Pan Pan with 3D modelling. Applying the “Kinect” technology, the motions of the visitors would be detected by the sensor. They can move forward by imitating the motion of Yang, getting some coins and finally get on the Peak. The scores of these two games would be sent and accumulate on the giant LED scoreboard.
Apart from interactive games, audiences could take a photo as a memento at the “321! Cheer Up” photobooth. The photobooth applies dual-cameras which is user-friendly for people with different heights. SenMedia designs 10 themed props to make the photo more eye-catching. The photos taken would be immediately sent to the mosaic wall, thus become one of the pieces composing the Hong Kong Victoria Harbour.
In order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, SenMedia also make an animation which reproduces the joyful parade and celebration of Tung Wah. The animation is projected in this exhibition. If you are interested, you can visit the Hong Kong Heritage Museum by 25 Jan 2021.
