By | Exhibition, Government Department, Museum, News | No Comments

Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Museum of History and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, is opening from 17 Jun 2020 to 24 Aug 2020. It showcases some 1,200 sets of classic Hong Kong-made products.

Sengital (SenMedia Team) is happy to participate in the production of 3 sets of interactive exhibits and animation projection for this exhibition. To imitate the production lines in factories, we synchronise 3 touch monitors and make it a moving conveyor. Audience can view a series of videos made from animated photos to learn about the life of factory girls in the past. We apply female voice over in the video to make you feel like you are standing right in the scene.

Another interactive exhibit is a virtual map locating different industrial streets and landmarks in the past. Composed of a 32″ touch monitor and a 4K projector, visitors can view the information of the locations and know more about the relations between past and present by selecting the pins on the map.

What’s more, the 2K animation projection “Industry in Numbers” produced by SenMedia visualises the industrial statistics from 1970 to 2010 and turns them into a 8-minute animation. The dynamic scenes with a variety of playful sound effect allow people to learn the history in a fun way!

Do not hesitate to join this exciting and fruitful event! For more details, please refer to the official website of HKMH.
