Around 120 exhibits from the Western science and technology collection of the Palace Museum are showcased in the “Western Scientific Instruments of the Qing Court” Exhibition. Many of the historic relics are being exhibited in Hong Kong for the first time. The opening ceremony was held on 25 June 2015. The exhibition is jointly organized by the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Palace Museum.

Sengital (SenMedia Team) was happy to participate in the design, fabrication and installation of the interactive exhibits in this exhibition which is held from 26 June 2015 to 23 September 2015. Let’s visit there now!

The opening ceremony of the “Re-encountering Confucius” Exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of Education of the Hong Kong Institute of Education is held on 18 June 2015. Congratulations to our client, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Leisure & Cultural Services Department, HKSAR Government. Their “Portable Dunhuang Story Player” App developed by Sengital won the certificate of merit in the “Games & Edutainment” Category at Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2015.

Asia Smartphone Apps Summit cum Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 18 June 2015. As the developer of the awarded app, “Portable Dunhuang Story Player”, Sengital was very pleased to be invited to the ceremony and share our happiness and joy. Special thanks to the Hong Kong Heritage Museum for your great support and efforts. It was our great honor to be involved in such successful exhibition.

Sengital was more than happy to be invited by OGCIO to give a speech with title “To Bring Interaction and Innovation to Exhibition and Events”. We have showcased how to adopt different technology for exhibition and presentation events for enhancing users’ attraction.

There is a launching event for Caring Oral Health Months by the Oral Health Education Unit, Department of Health on 9^th May 2015 (Sat) at Sheung Tak Plaza. This event aims to promote the care for the parents’ oral health. Again, we have our Pinky Gummy, display with oral health information, interactive games and apps and also teeth brushing demo from HK Dental Hygienist’s Association which make the event a fruitful one.

Sengital is very pleased to announce that “Portable Dunhuang Story Player” App, jointly entered with the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Leisure & Cultural Services Department, HKSAR Government won the Best Mobile Apps (Mobile Edutainment) Gold Award at the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2015. This app is an audio guide programme adopting latest positioning technology in the exhibition.

It was our great honor to share with you our happiness and joy in the Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 10 April 2015 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Thank you for your support and contribution, especially to the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and Dunhuang Academy who are the organizers of the greatest Dunhuang exhibition “Dunhuang – Untold Tales, Untold Riches”. With your great efforts, “Portable Dunhuang Story Player” can be one of the successful apps and obtain such recognition in the HK ICT Awards 2015.
