The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: A History of the World in 100 Objects from the British Museum

“A History of the World in 100 Objects”, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and the British Museum (BM), tells the story of human civilization by using 100 objects selected from the encyclopedic collections of the BM. The stories behind the objects reveal how mankind in various areas and cultures shared similar aspirations in different aspects, providing visitors a new perspective about the world we live.

SenMedia is pleased to design and develop the interactive wall as the last station of the exhibition. The 8-meter wall with two 4K  projectors displays the 100 objects in a dynamic scene. By touching on the projections of the exhibits, dazzling animations would appear to indicate the time and space of the objects with a timeline marking different dynasties of China. The large-scaled interactive wall marks a perfect end of visitor experience. Besides, we developed the QR code system, visitors can enjoy the further information by easily using their mobile devices.
